A Different Kind of Team Event - Trash Hero CleanUp in Bern

Participants: 17 WAM planners & engineers and Michel Bühler from Trash Hero 

Amount Collected: 350 liter Trash (Cigarette tips, PET, aluminum cans, beer bottles, plastic packaging, etc.) 

Route: Bärenplatz – Langmauerweg – Bärenpark - Marzili 

WAM Planner & Engineers were experiencing a different kind of team event on Thursday, August 9th. Together with Michel Bühler from Trash Hero, the 17 planners and engineers were allowed to clear Bern of trash. First, they learned a lot of interesting facts about waste, littering and possible solutions to the global plastic and waste problem. Afterwards, a personal approach was taken and dozens of cigarette tips, PET bottles, aluminum cans and other trash was collected and disposed of properly at the collection point in the Marzili. The result is impressive, with a total of about 350 liter of trash being collected. At the following grill & chill this was celebrated.
